Hello all,
CFO trip to Rocking 7K and Taylor ranches et al has been going great. Today we
had a great fallout of warblers at the Rocking 7K.
Orange crowned (too many to count)
black and white warbler
worm eating warbler
common yellowthroat
Tennessee Warbler
Northern Parula
Yellow rumped warbler
Wilson's warbler

Also had a BLUE HEADED VIREO. What a neat treat. Especially since we all
decided that Brandon had put the one he saw at the Lamar Woods in his pocket
yesterday :-)

Our most hilariously out of place bird was a black crowned night heron at the
Rocking 7K in their shelter belt. Go figure! Had over 60 species at the 2
ranches so far. Hope to get more tomorrow after tonight's drizzle.

Had about 20 species of shorebirds/ducks at Turk's Pond. American White
Pelican with about 6 double crested cormorants in it's wake were fun to watch
as well as a franklin's gull.

Well, off to bed. Just wanted to post this for any coming out this way.
Rocking 7K is available any time provided landowners are around :-) $5 access
fee. Call them at 719-734-5245.
