Hi COBirders,

Warm and pretty slow today, but one real treat. Total of 17 new birds
banded. We did have a few thrushes (Hermit) around, Bullock's Oriole,
N Mockingbird, and many warblers in the top of the trees around the
cottonwood catkins and "flycatching", including Orange-crowned,
Audubon's and Myrtle (Y-rumped), and possible Virginia's Warblers.
On the ranch and along Hanover Road FOS Lark Buntings are back, W
Kingbird, Loggerhead Shrike, FOS Curve-billed Thrasher.

***Highlight of the Day - Western Palm Warbler (FOS, banded, photos
available)***

Others banded: FOS Harris' Sparrow, FOS Song Sparrow, Sp Towhee, Am
Goldfinch, Hermit Thrush, Myrtle Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler,
House Wren, and RETURNS (banded last year, recaptured today - probable
local breeders) - Am Robin, House Wren, Blue Jay)
