Hello,

Late Tuesday morning, we checked the birds between CR 42 and 48, on 47.
Found an American Bittern standing stock-still in a wet field on the north
side of the road. Later heard, but did not see, a singing Sora in a marshy
area along the south edge of the road. Dowitcher, Willet, and numerous
other water and shore birds others that others have mentioned, were in watery
areas throughout the area. Did not find the dunlin, and will return for a
second look.

Lower Latham and the Beebe Draw area were new to us. Thanks to everybody
who's posted here, and those we met along the route, for help in birding
here!
