Twin Lakes. I was there early and found out there had been a big exodus of the
weekend birds. All I found were a few Yellow-rumped Warblers, Yellow Warblers,
a Cedar Waxwing, and an Eastern Kingbird. I didn't stay long.

Boulder Creek between 30th and Arapahoe bike underpass. Kaempfer already
reported on this stretch. I too found the male Blackpoll Warbler, but a bit
further to the east, almost to the Arapahoe bike underpass. I also had an
Empidonax flycatcher, and I'll be studying my photos to try to figure it out.
It may be the Dusky that Bill reported.

Sale Lake. I stopped here as an afterthought to see if the Northern Waterthrush
from Saturday was still here for a photo op. It was. Another birder and I saw
Northern Waterthrush in the NE corner and also SW corner. There might be two.
This tiny little lake had lots of birds in the brush and trees to the
southwest. The birds in that corner included:

Wilson's Warbler, 1 male
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Chipping Sparrow, lots
Clay-colored Sparrow, lots
White-crowned Sparrow
Swainson's Thrush, a couple
Western Tanager, 1 male
