1. Today, I found a Virginia's Warbler on the Platte (east side of river)
between Evans and Florida.  This is in Denver County.

2. Thursday morning I am going to meet whoever shows up at Florida and the
Platte River in Denver at 8:15 AM for a quick 60 to 90 minute bird walk.
Hopefully, the birds will continue to come through this area which is my second
most favorite in Denver County.  We will leave promptly at 8:15 AM, then bird
the area to the north just about 200 yards and then head south until about
Evans (then head back).

3. May 21:  A small group from Denver and Colorado Springs will meet John
Drummond and bird Chico Basin this fine day (Thursday, May 21).  You must RSVP
to [email protected].  In your RSVP indicate if you want the Denver starting
location or Colorado Springs starting location.  You must car pool, share gas
costs, bring lunch and pay the Chico Basin fee ($10 for a group of 6 or more).

Hope to see you all birding soon.

Best Wishes:  Charles Thornton-Kolbe
