I was so fired up about finding the "Brewster's" Warbler with Jeannie Mitchell
yesterday that I did not report the Gray-cheeked Thrush I had seen in the
morning. It was on the south side of the main entrance road to the Peaceful
Valley suburb on the east side of Marsheffel Rd, El Paso County. It was just
west of the irrigation ditch, where the road splits in two for a short distance.
The bird was foraging on the ground with 4-5 Great-tailed Grackles.
