Some good activity around the lake at Pelican Point early this morning. Western Palm Warbler - near the NW cove. This is a new bird for the Bear Creek Lake Park (BCLP) checklist.
Northern Waterthrush - seen on both sides of Pelican Pt. - at least three, birds were singing at times. Rose-breasted Grosbeak - seen briefly near NW cove Western Tanagers - 6-10, mostly male, but 1-2 females - seen on both sides of Pelican Point. Osprey - flying above the lake Brewer's, Savannah, and White-crowned Sparrows - several of each. Yellow and Yellow-rumped Warblers are still numerous.
