at cottonwood marsh/walden ponds, boulder county  today, there were  
about 20 lark buntings of both sexes in a flock, at the entrance to  
the cottonwood marsh parking lot, as well as a stilt in the pond.   
bobolinks in the field by the big cowboy, mccalls lake on highway 66  
east of lyons, and last week there were about 16 wood ducks of both  
sexes flying on open space on north 75th street about one mile or  
less north of highway 66 between longmont and lyons, and a long eared  
owl there, as well as many other expected birds . -elena klaver, niwot
