Hi COBirders,

This was the last scheduled day for RMBO banding operations at the
ranch, and it was an average day. The storms last night didn't seem
to create a big turnover of birds - maybe they were held up south of
here by those storms. We did see more of the Swainson's Thrush/
Lincoln's Sparrow arrivals, but few warblers. 42 new birds banded
today.

Seen around the banding station - Ash-throated Flycatcher, Cedar
Waxwings, Blue Grosbeak, Peregrine Falcon W Wood-Pewee. Seen along
the road in - Lark Bunting, Loggerhead Shrike, N Mockingbird, Scaled
Quail, Swainson's Hawk, Horned Lark, W Kingbird, W Meadowlark.

Banding highlights today (banding by Brian Gibbons, Rocky Mountain
Bird Observatory, and Steve Brown, volunteer)
