Man, Fruitgrowers Reservoir (aka, Hart's Basin) is a great place to see a
lot of species, and a lot of birds, quickly.

Highlights there today were a Sandhill Crane (I have recently learned that
they did breed here last year), a late Bonaparte's Gull, a Black-necked
Stilt, an impressive number of swallows (estimated 850 Violet-green), and
lots of duck species.

Here is my list for about one hour and fifteen minutes of birding from the
north end of the lake:
