Hello Colorado birders! My girlfriend I will be in your beautiful state to bird for about 2 weeks at the end of July. We are Georgia birders visiting Colorado for the first time, and we hope to get to both the mountainous areas and the eastern prairies. Will likely enter CO on I-70 from KS, go thru or near Denver, then head southwest towards AZ.
Some of our target species are listed below, we realize some may be tough to get. Any information you can share off-list would be greatly appreciated. I have skimmed the Colorado Birding Trail website and also the Colorado Birding Society website. If there are any "not to be missed" sites out there, we'd love to hear about them. Thank you very much!
