Cobirders, Red Lion SWA, CR-95 ponds just off CO-138 were active today July 14: Before lunch: Common Tern- 2 on fence poles, excellent scope views, black shoulder bars White-rumped Sandpiper- 7 feeding, saw them fly in and after observing them well, they flew again White-faced Ibis- 2 Killdeer- many Western Kingbird- 1 Western Meadowlark Jumbo SWA Black Tern- several Swallows American White Pelican- 1 Loggerhead Shrike- i Loons- none seen After lunch CR-95 ponds: White-rumps still there White-face Ibis- 25 Forster's Tern-3 Common Tern-2 American Avocet-1 Gadwall-2 Long-billed Dowitcher- 2 Yellow-headed Blackbird- 1 juv Red-winged Blackbird- 2 Upland Sandpiper - CO-138 west of Crook Peaceful birding, Warren Finch Lakewood **************Can love help you live longer?
