Hi all:

The bird pictured is a male European Starling.? The sex can be determined by
the diffuse patch of blue at the base of the mandible (females have diffuse
pink patches, of course).

I saw this bird at the fountain creek nature center back in February.

I had not examined the picture closely until last night when I

realized it was an "unknown" from my perspective.

? Thanks for any help on ID
