The adult male SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was cooperative into the evening
today. I think the general prediction is that it will move on overnight judging
by the ample food it caught this afternoon and the high pressure system
overhead. Other birds spotted along the South Boulder Creek Path this afternoon
included 1 female LARK BUNTING, 1 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, 3 SAVANNAH SPARROWS,
several VESPER SPARROWS, several WESTERN WOOD-PEWEES, 2 EASTERN KINGBIRDS, 2-3
WESTERN KINGBIRDS, CEDAR WAXWINGS, 1 singing male BLUE GROSBEAK carrying food,
1 YELLOW WARBLER, WESTERN MEADOWLARKS, and an immature COOPER'S HAWK.
Great birding,

Christian Nunes
