I led a "Nunn Guy" birding trip to Weld County for my fellow U. S.
Forest Service/Rocky Mountain Research Station employees.

Route:  Nunn->Raptor Alley (WCR 27)->Weld Landfill->Drake Lake-
>Windsor Reservoir->Timnath Reservoir->Siebring Reservoir->35th Ave
Gravel->Glenmere Park->Latham Reservoir->Beebe Draw->Loloff Reservoir-
>WCR 59 marsh->Lonetree Water Treatment Facility->Antelope Reservoir.

Total of species: 80+ (we had to leave some peeps and ducks alone-
distance/heatwaves)

Highlights:

Unidentified (and the only one present) Warbler (WCR 42/45 trees and
shrubbery on NE) - 1, looked like female Pine Warbler (Sibley's) and
the chip even sounded like the "sucking" noise chip (http://
www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Pine_Warbler/sounds).  Ideas?  I can tell
you what it wasn't Yellow, Wilson's,  1st W Tennessee, Orange-crowned,
etc)
Semipalmated Plover (Timnath) - 2
Ruddy Duck (WCR 59) - 5-6
Stilt Sandpiper (Latham) - 4-6+
Black Tern (Windsor Lake, Windsor Reservoir) - 4-6
Forster's Tern (Latham, Windsor Lake) - 6-8
Sora (Latham) - 1
Western Sandpiper (Latham, Timnath)
Baird's Sandpiper (Latham, Timnath)
Least Sandpiper (Latham, TImnath)
Burrowing Owl (Nunn)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (Nunn) - 1
Mountain Bluebird (Nunn) - 1
Vesper, Lark, Brewer's Sparrow (Nunn)
Blue Grosbeak (Raptor Alley) - 1
Cattle Egret (Glenmere, Latham) - 3 dozen
Solitary Sandpiper (Timnath) - 2
White-faced Ibis (Timnath, Latham) - 50+
Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs (Latham, Timnath)
Great Egret (Timnath) - 2
Franklin's Gull - 3-4 dozen (Latham, Timnath)
Bonaparte's Gull (Timnath) - 2

Thanks
