Subject: [cobirds] Boulder Cassin's kingbird

Around noon today there was a Cassin's kingbird at the east end of Mesa
Reservoir north of Boulder. Dark gray head and breast with strongly
contrasting white malar, and pale tip of tail. A cooperative Western
kingbird perched on a nearby fence to make a nice comparison. Best
access to Mesa Res. is from the Boulder Valley Ranch trailhead at the
 east end of Longhorn Rd.

Also sage thrashers, Say's phoebes, a rock wren, and a good assortment
 of sparrows.
