There was a nice set of birds at Grandview Cemetery at the west terminus of
Mountain Avenue in Fort Collins (Larimer) today.

Most unusual birds were:
Rock Wren (adult in Section E bobbing on headstones)
Warbling Vireo (1, appeared to be a "western")
Brown Creeper (FOS down low)
Chipping Sparrow (big flock persists)
Lark Sparrow (1 with chippies, not a normal species for the cemetery)
Townsend's Warbler? (thought I heard on more than one occasion but could never
locate)

Persisting:
Turkey Vulture (1 flying w to e toward the Mt. Ave. roost)
Barn Swallow (several overhead)
Lesser Goldfinch (heard out on the golf course)

Cool Behaviors:
Northern Flickers eating mapleleaf viburnum fruits
Red-breasted Nuthatch procuring and caching Douglas-fir seeds from cones
Fox Squirrel caching peony seed pod clusters

Total of 25 spp. of birds
