Banding continues to be very slow at the Barr Lake Station. We’ve had a
couple of days when our numbers were in the 40’s, but most days we are in
the teens to low 20s. We banded 13 birds today:

Downy Woodpecker 1

Western Wood-pewee 1

House Wren 2

Swainson’s Thrush 1

Gray Catbird 1

Orange-crowned Warbler 1

Common Yellowthroat 1

Wilson’s Warbler 3

Lincoln Sparrow 2

We will be open this weekend, and open every day next week except Monday
(9/21). Hoping for more birds!
