Hi Birders. Nice day today but went to store and stayed home! At
4PM a large flock of Redwing Blackbirds including
a few Grackles flew down from the northwest and settled in the front
yard and across the street. The sun was shining
but a huge dark cloud was on the northwest horizon. They were feeding
for only fifteen minutes. It was quite windy.
At 6:15PM a flock of 50 Eurasian Collared Doves flew past to the
Northeast. No Sandhill Cranes here yet.
Migration in action.
