Hi Cobirders Well we have caught our last bird of the season at Chico Basin Ranch. The third was quite slow for banding but we did have one birding highlight. An Eastern Phoebe was around the Banding Station area briefly in the morning, all efforts to relocate this bird failed.
We banded just five birds today with a few recaps; Hermit Thrush 3, Lincoln's Sparrow 1, Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow 1. We finished the season having banded 1190 birds of 62 species.
