Friday, late morning, I saw a probable Solitary Sandpiper on the south shore of the lake at Ketring Park in Littleton. I had hoped to get back Saturday for a longer look, but work took me elsewhere. So we went this morning, but did not re-find the bird. I am reasonably, though perhaps not 100%, sure it was a Solitary, as the sighting was brief.
