Stopped by the south side of Union Res. today after work. The majority of
grebes were on the north side of the reservoir of course. On the west side of
the reservoir was a lone Red-necked Grebe. Ducks took up the middle of the
reservoir, shovelers, one lone pintail, scaup, Canvasback, Redhead, Hooded
Merganser. American white Pelicans were on the dock at the yacht club. The
gulls were actively feeding on the reservoir next to the road. A small flock of
Western Meadowlark and Horned Lark were across the road in the field west on
the runway.
