GPS may be fine for some folks, but I urge everyone to keep giving specific
directions. Many of us haven't converted to these modern fads such as GPS, but
we can follow directions.

Urling and I noticed that occasionally people who try to find places using
directions from Mapquest and its ilk get hopelessly lost. One person in our
bird class ended up 20 miles from our meeting place because he'd used Mapquest
instead of old-fashioned, turn here, drive so many miles, etc.

As Urling says, GPS directions only would exclude a lot of people.
