In the last hour I saw 4 adult Tundra Swans at Plum Creek and one young bird
swimming along the ice line. 10 minutes later I watched 5 adult Tundras
depart from the Platte River area and fly south until they were out of sight
(with bins). About 10 minutes later I witnessed 12 Tundra Swans fly in and
land!! This group of twelve contained THREE immature birds! This would make
22 Tundra Swans in about 10 hour! I believe there is a movement of swans
along the front range. Check the local lakes EARLY in the am and late in
the afternoon!

At least one of the Glaucous Gulls is still present at Chatfield and
standing on the ice.
