Late this afternoon I saw and photographed a Richardson's Merlin at the busy intersection of Sunset Avenue and Nelson Road in Longmont (Boulder County). It was looking over the traffic from the top of the highest tree at the northwest corner of the intersection. I see the Longmont CBC is the 19th, so maybe someone can refind this bird on Wednesday or after at least for count week. David Waltman Boulder
