Hi all,
The final total for the Fountain Creek CBC on Monday, Dec 14th was 81 species
(and two count week species). There is no way this total of birds would have
been found, without the excellent counters. Also, a few landowners gave
permission for the counters to enter property property. You can see the
results on the Christmas Bird Count website. Go to
http://www.audubon.org/bird/cbc/index.html and click on Current Year, then go
to Find Count Circle, then find Colorado, then click Find Count, and this years
count results will appear, under the count name. I know I'm fast at compiling
stuff, so don't expect results of other counts for a while probably. There are
a lot of counts this weekend, and overall it looks like some good weather.
Hopefully a lot of birds will be found around the state.
