Hello all,
The male Barrow's Goldeneye was present this mid-morning on the Platte River
between Evans and Florida. I ran into Mark Chavez, who saw it near the Florida
St. bridge, after which he said it flew south. We located the bird immediately
north of the Evans St. bridge and got excellent looks. Over the next half-hour,
it drifted north along the river. For much of the time, a female Common
Goldeneye accompanied it, as reported previously.
