This morning and again just now we sighted a pair of Greater White -
fronted Goose in the unfrozen part of the north Wash. Park Lake. They
were mixed in with hundreds of Canadians, Mallards, several Northern
Shovelers and 2 American Widgeons. I had thought I saw 1 White -
fronted Goose last week but without binoculars among so many I did not
post. These stayed together and were lovely.
Denver County
We will not be here for the bird count but there is a Downy Woodpecker
living in a hole in the tree corner Downing and Marion. Off for some
Florida birding.
