Okay, maybe it was the same flock that was doing laps around the northwest part 
of town.  I first saw a flock of about 4000 Red-winged Blackbirds about 20 deep 
and stretched south to north as far as I could see in both directions.

Also at least 21 Northern Flickers, (2 yellow shafted), were waiting for me to 
finish shoveling to get at the suet.

2 Downy Woodpeckers that didn't seem to mind me under the tree.

A few House finches and Black-capped Chickadees, but not as many as I usually 
see with this kind of weather.

And 4 pesky E. Starlings.  Where is the Merlin?
