Hi all,

Today I relocated the female Long-tailed Duck found during the
Loveland CBC on New Years Day, at Dry Creek Reservoir in southern
Larimer County. It was foraging with at least 5 Greater Scaup. There
may have been more, but 5 was the most I felt comfortable calling.
There was also a female Bufflehead present mostly hanging around with
the 120 or so Canada and Cackling Geese.

I also dropped by Simpson SWA in Loveland to look for the Rusty
Blackbirds seen there recently, but to no avail. I encountered no
blackbirds whatsoever, although I did find a Yellow-rumped Warbler.
