Folks, Paul Differding, Loch Kilpatrick and I ventured up to Weld County to see the Red-shouldered Hawk. Fortunately, Rachel had found the bird minutes before we arrived. We were able to view and photograph this rarity and compare him with a nearby, juvenile Red-tailed Hawk. Thanks to Dave Elens for finding this bird, and Eric and Gary for getting the word out.
