Sorry for the late post, had some email issues to work out. This past sunday 1/10/10, I walked the Platte river at 88th and Colorado. The Long-tailed duck was still at the pond immediately to the west. That species was downgraded to 1 duck from 2 that was previously reported. Also, there was a male Barrow's goldeneye on the river right at the water tower. So for those who are thinking of heading that direction this week or coming weekend be on the lookout.
