Shrike in willows along bike path & Lake Dillon - Hwy 6 A sighting usually occurring every year mid-Feb Since the Loggerhead is slightly smaller than the Northern, I'm going with Loggerhead; didn't have my binocs but the black mask at eyes was evident. It's the Loggerhead's breeding range up here, right? If so, very early. If Northern, this is their winter range? Am I correct? Ready to be proven wrong.
