Long story short, it was correct with GPS/mapping tools for years, then a year later the street name was changed to "Prairie View Lane" for some unknown reason. The subdivision is called "Prairie Vista View" and the road is "Prairie Vista Lane".
I was able to get it corrected with Google Maps and hoped that MapQuest et al caught the correction as they use Navteq for this area.
