Just a quick note to let those who are interested...I have not seen
the Lewis's Woodpecker nor the White-winged Dove in about ten days.
Perhaps the snow got to be too much! Quite frankly, I'm glad; I
understand it is no fun having a family of Lewis's living in your
yard.

Still though, the Rosies continue to come. They are here nearly every
day lately, but when it's snowing or has just snowed (like last night)
they come here in the 100's. I'm quite sure there are at least 300
pink-butts out there right now...a huge flock of all three species.

Oh, and while it seems to me Evening Grosbeaks and Rosy-finches don't
mingle much, in the afternoons when the Rosies go back to wherever
they live...there are sometimes as many as 30 or even 50 Evening
Grosbeaks here at a time. I love it and can't get enough of their
cheery peeps.

Feel free to give me a call, if you care to visit,
