CObirds, I will be making my first trip to Colorado this March 20-27 and was wondering if anyone had advice on the current hotspots for finding the following species or any general info. Please respond directly to me, don't want to clutter up the listserv.
Dusky Grouse: probaby not the best time to look for this species, but do they show up anywhere accessible Boreal Owl: planning on trying Cameron Pass, precise details would be nice Pinyon Jay: seen very little on where to find this species Rosy-Finches: Allenspark still the best location? I've seen posts saying it hasn't been good there this year. Lewis's Woodpecker Sage Thrasher Sage Sparrow Mountain Plover: too early?
