Raptor activity was light at Dinosaur Ridge today.

 

Of 10 Red-tailed Hawks, 4 were probable locals.

3 Sharp-shinned Hawks provided nice looks flying north just below the 
observation point.

1 Accipiter (sp?) 

 

Other activity included 4 Common Ravens, 28 American Crows, and 4 challenging 
ravens that sounded Chihuahuan.

Black-billed Magpies were active, including one carrying a stick

A pair of Western Scrub-jays put in an occasional appearance as did a 
Townsend's Solitaire

American Robin 9

Red-shafted Flicker 1

Spotted Towhee 3 singing

Dark-eyed Juncos 10, including at least 1 Oregon and 4 Slate-colored

Western Meadowlark

Blaci-capped Chickadee 1

Mountain Chickadee 2

 

The Juniper Titmouse did not put in an appearance.
