Colorado's other Golden-crowned Sparrow continues its winter sojourn at Tunnel Drive in Canon City. This morning it was on the ground with several White-crowned Sparrows next to the metal gate at the end of Tunnel Drive. This is its fourth winter at Tunnel Dr. Also seen in the area were two Rufous-crowned Sparrows and a imm. Bald Eagle. This afternoon I saw two FOY Tree Swallows flying along the Arkansas River. Appropriate for the first day of spring! Rich Miller Canon City
