The monthly Greeley Birders drove to Crow Valley Recreation area today and saw many hawks.The sky was blue and hawks so visiable. Many Ferrugenous, Red-tailed, one Rough-legged, many Harriars, a Prairie Merlin and a some of usuals. We did find a new restaurant has opened in the building on the north side of HWY 392 just before the turn to the campground. This should help a lot of us hungry birders. It is clean, nicely redecorated, reasonably priced and the hamburgers were good and thick. It is open from 11:00 to 2:00 PM Monday thru Saturdays. Norma Erickson north of Greeley
