Mymm Ackley found an early Western Kingbird near the Fish Hatchery Ponds, below
Pueblo Reservoir dam this morning.  Also, Mymm and I saw a Peregrine Falcon
sitting in a tree along the Arkansas River in Rock Canyon, along the eastern
part of the Osprey Picnic Area.  One Black Phoebe was west of Valco Ponds
parking lot, near the building with the chain link fence.  We saw some
swallows, Tree, Violet-green, Cliff, and Barn.  There were two Yellow-rumped
Warblers and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet in Rock Canyon in the Osprey Picnic Area.

At the shorebird spot at the boat ramp on the SWA on the NW Side of Pueblo
Reservoir, there was a Greater Yellowlegs earlier this morning, as well as a
Savannah
Sparrow.  So far this spring, this location has had Baird's Sandpiper, both
species of yellowlegs, and Avocets.  Hopefully this location will continue to
produce shorebirds this spring, since it is hard to find shorebirds around
Pueblo normally.
