On the southeast edge of the pond across from the airplane field at Cherry Creek SP, there were 7 White-faced Ibis and one Glossy Ibis. On the "new wetland" southeast of the model airplane field, I had close views of two Marbled Godwits, two Least Sandpipers, two Lesser Yellowlegs, and nine American Avocets. Two days ago three Wilson's Phalaropes circled invisible drains just west of Stearns Lake, in Broomfield County. On David Rhoades DFO trip to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal on April 24th there was a Semipalmated Plover with Semipalmated and Baird's Sandpipers. Thus April's Prologue precedes May's migration Play.
