Dear Cobirders,
Bob Zilly and I headed out to check on the migrant status at Twin
Lakes in Gunbarrel this morning. There continue to be many Warblers and
other interesting migrants. Today's goodies include one Northern
Waterthrush, one Hermit Thrush, two Brown Thrashers, possibly one Veery,
one Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and one Spotted Towhee. The SE flow predicted
for Saturday night-Sunday morning with a nighttime switch to NE'erly
winds should produce another mini-fallout depending on the timing of the
wind switch, so be sure to check your local "patch".
Cheers,
Walter Szeliga
