I spent a few hours at Fountain Creek Regional Park this afternoon to prep for
the Spring Bird Count. Sheltered areas of the park were quite birdie with the
following birds seen:
Yellow Warbler - 6
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 50+
Wilson's Warbler - 1
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Virginia's Warbler - 1 male and 1 female
McGillivray's Warbler - 1
Cassin's Vireo - 1
Warbling Vireo - 1
Western Tanager - 3
Bullock's Oriole - 2
Eastern Kingbird - 1
Broad-tailed Hummingbird - 1
Black-chinned Hummingbird - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 2
Ken Pals
Colorado Springs
