After striking out at Belmar in the snow I decided to head out to Last Chance.  
There was a fair amount of migrants moving through including at least two 
Tennessee Warblers.  I'm  pretty sure I had three but maybe one got behind me.  
After I left,  Norm Erthal had a male Blackpoll Warbler.  On my way back home I 
had great looks at a Short-eared Owl about 5 miles west of Last Chance on Hwy 
36. Photos of the Waterthrush, Tennessee, and Owl can be seen in the Rare and 
Uncommon gallery below.  Below is the list of birds seen today.
