As of 2:00 there was a Little Blue Heron in the NW corner of Cottonwood Marsh, Walden Ponds, Boulder. There was also a tern in the area that another birder (with a scope) ID'd as a Common. I never got a good look at it. A Gray Catbird was near the Sawhill Pond with the blind on it. A nice mix of sparrows was present with Lincoln's seeming to dominate today.
I got a a few brief glimpses of a heavily-spotted thrush with a red- orange back in the brush along the west side of Cattail Marsh. If anyone sees it, please let me know what it is!
