Driving up CO14 between CR68 and CR9 we encountered our crafty raven. On the
left side of the road, we spotted a nest platform atop a utility pole. Though
the platform appeared designed for a raptor, we saw a raven walking to the edge
of the platform. From the edge of the platform, the raven slipped beneath it
into the sheltered comfort of its nest. Though easily mistaken for a platform,
any raven could clearly see the wooden disk was a roof.
