Hi all,

Eastern birds are still coming through, so don't give up yet.  I was surprised
to find two eastern rarities in Rock Canyon, below Pueblo Reservoir dam, Pueblo
County this morning.

A female Blue-winged Warbler was along Arkansas River, at eastern part of
Osprey Picnic Area.  If you park in the last parking lot, and then walk south
on a trail to the river, there is an olive tree right along the river.  This is
where I saw the bird for a few minutes.  It was having a feud with a pair
Yellow Warblers, and I'm not sure where it went.

A singing Eastern Wood-Pewee was near the Arkansas River, along a gravel trail
on the west side
 of the Osprey Picnic Area.

Other migrants, were 4 Willow Flycatchers, 2 Lincoln's Sparrows, and a Western
Tanager.

Good birding,

Brandon Percival
