We continue to band new residents plus a few late migrants each day. FOS bird
today was a female Lazuli Bunting. Total new captures today was 24:

Dusky Flycatcher 1
House Wren 1
Gray Catbird 3
Yellow Warbler 8 new, 1 return
Yellow-breasted Chat 2
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow (Mtn) 1
Lazuli Bunting 1
Red-winged Blackbird 2
American Goldfinch 1
Come early to avoid the crowds and the heat and to see good birds! We will
likely close somewhat earlier than usual as it is expected to be very warm......
