Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday late a.m. my husband and I camped along the
Poudre River in the Dutch George Campground. The first bird I observed was an
American Dipper, and with continued watching saw its mate, as well as their
nest built under a crevice on the opposite side of the river. Other birds seen
in the campground:

Spotted Towhee
Black-headed Grosbeak
Western Tanager
Common Mergansers
House Wren
Gray Catbird
Stellar Jay
Calliope Hummingbird
Common Grackle
Am Robin
Am Goldfinch
Am Tree Sparrow
Tree Swallow

One other bird I saw high atop a deciduous tree was only the underside of a
warbler sized bird. It had a yellow throat with black malars. The breast was
slightly dark streaked, with the sides, flanks, and belly light and unstreaked.
 Any ideas?
