This afternoon (6/7) I heard a Red-eyed Vireo singing at the NW corner of
Prospect and Longspeak Drive IN Fort Collins (Larimer County). When I got to
the Poudre River I heard the Red-eyed Vireo singing consistently in the same
tree that Eric DeFonso found it this morning.
I then decided to head over to Running Deer Natural Area and in the west pond I
saw a female LEAST BITTERN fly from the north end of the pond to the south end.
It landed in the same area that the birds were mostly seen last year. I was not
able to find it after it landed. I wasn't able to find anything else of
interest in this area.
